Join Berlin's biggest electronic waste collection campaign

From the 13th to the 15th of November, Looptopia Festival takes place in Berlin. The city will be full of initiatives and events focused on the circular economy and waste reduction.

Millions of phones are stuck in drawers at home. That's why Circular Berlin, Minimise, Repair Circle and the Inkota Association teamed up to collect them during Looptopia.

We're looking for participating locations in our area to host a collection box. Are you in Berlin, and have a cool location where lots of visitors might have old devices to drop off? We'd love to host a collection box at your location!

Some project details:

• Minimum participation period is 2 weeks (from the 1st till the 14th of November). Longer participation is possible if you're interested.
• The boxes are about the size of a shoebox, so they will fit on almost any counter or in any corner.
• Placement and pickup of the boxes and their contents is managed by us. There's no effort for you!
• Participation is also completely free. We cover the costs of logistics, boxes, etc.
• We would of course love your active participation in engaging your community. Post about it on your socials or tell your customers, friends and family!
• Our partner JuRec-IT GmbH will take care of certified personal data removal on all collected devices. Afterwards they will refurbish or recycle the devices based on their condition.
